The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting is held every year on the second Sunday in December at 7:00 p.m. for one hour local time around the globe -- a 24-hour wave of light in honor of all the children whose memories we treasure in our hearts.
On Sunday, December 13, 2009, a community candle lighting ceremony will be held sponsored by The Compassionate Friends of Reno.

Temple Sinai - Social Hall
3405 Gulling Road, Reno
The ceremony starts promptly at 7:00 p.m. with the lighting of the Unity Candle. The program includes community guest speakers, readings and the lighting of special remembrance candles, followed by the saying of our children's names. The evening also includes special music with refreshments and socializing
following the ceremony.
"Remember that we do this together with the world in remembrance of our children."
Directions to Temple Sinai - Social Hall: I-80 W, Exit 12 Keystone Ave, left on Kings Row, right on Bridgwodd Lane (just past Towles Elementary School), right on Guilling. Social Hall is just behind the Temple.
